7 ways to get more clicks from every link you share
Small changes to how you name, place and track your links add up. Here are seven we see work again and again.
Every link you share is a tiny landing page. These habits help people trust it, click it and remember it.
1. Use a readable alias
A short, meaningful alias such as /spring-sale is easier to trust than a random string.
2. Match the alias to the promise
If the post says "free guide", the link should say it too.
3. Tag every campaign
UTM tags let your analytics tool show which post, email or ad drove the visit.
4. Send people where they are
Geo and device targeting send visitors to the right store, language or app.
5. Test two pages
Use the A/B rotator to split traffic and keep the winner.
6. Put a QR code on everything printed
Dynamic QR codes can be updated after printing, so a typo never costs you a reprint.
7. Check your stats weekly
Look at countries, referrers and devices to see where your audience really is.
